Privacy Policy

BoardAlign ("the App") is a monday.com board-view app developed and operated by Cherrycow SIA, a company registered in the Republic of Latvia ("we", "us"). Contact: aleksandrs@hey.com.

The App compares and updates board structure (columns, status and dropdown labels, groups). This policy is short because the App is built so that there is very little to write about.

1. What the App Processes

Board structure. When you run a check, the App reads the structure of the boards you picked — column titles and types, label names, colors and order, group names, colors and order — through monday's API, inside your browser. This data is processed in the browser session and is not sent to us or to anyone else.
Item data is never read. The App does not request, read, or store the items on your boards or any of their values.

2. What the App Stores

The only stored data is the App's own configuration, kept in monday's app storage on monday's infrastructure, scoped to your monday account:

which target boards you selected for each source board,
differences you marked as intentional,
the App's internal column-id bookkeeping,
the time of your last check.

This configuration never leaves the monday platform. We have no servers, no database, and no copy of it. Uninstalling the App ends its access; retention afterwards is governed by monday's app-storage lifecycle and monday's own privacy terms.

3. What We Don't Do

No external servers: the App is delivered as static files from monday's app CDN and runs entirely in your browser.
No analytics, tracking, cookies, or fingerprinting of any kind.
No third-party services receive any of your data.
Nothing runs unattended: every read is triggered by a person using the view, and every write starts with that person's explicit click.

4. Permissions

The App asks monday for three permissions: reading boards (to compare structure), writing boards (to apply the fixes you choose), and reading workspaces (to show each board's workspace name in the picker). All reads and writes run as the signed-in user, under that user's own monday permissions — the App can never see or change anything the signed-in user couldn't.

5. Your Rights and Contact

Because we hold no personal data about you, most data-subject requests are answered by monday.com as the platform operator. For any question about this policy or the App's behavior, write to aleksandrs@hey.com — we read it.
